Ephesians 4:26-29 NASB

December 18h, 2022
The Book of Ephesians is one of THE most encouraging books contained within the pages of the Bible. It’s author, the apostle Paul, weaves a beautiful picture of the grace of God moving on behalf of us for His glory. We are saved for our benefit, but also to reveal His glory! Paul does a masterful job of revealing to the Ephesian church their pivotal role in the unfolding story of God. And that letter and theme has just as much relevance for us, today! Each week, we will delve into a verse-by-verse online bible study of Ephesians, showing you the historical context of this letter, the hidden gems Paul unveils, the truth held in tension, along with Biblical and modern examples for you to engage the text, and action steps for you to grow in God!
Ephesians 4:26-29
New American Standard Bible
26 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and do not give the devil an opportunity. 28 The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather he must labor, producing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need. 29 Let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
